Food in the Seychelles

The Seychellois are obsessed of good food, with the origins of their racially mixed backgrounds making interesting and exotic cooking. Influences include:

• Indian varieties of curry and wonderful spices
• Asian Fantastic stir-fries and rice
• European The French legacy with garlic, ginger and herbs

The main meal of the day is eaten in the evening and with so much of life in the Seychelles dominated by the ocean it is little wonder that many of the recipes include fish.

When to Go......................

December and April is the best time to visit, which is the dry season. This is the high season, however, the resorts can be fully booked and prices are higher than the rest of the year. The Christmas-New Year period is the busiest and most expensive part of the high season. Between May and November it's still warm, but the skies can be cloudy, humidity is higher and rain is more likely. This is the low season, and there are fewer tourists and prices are lower. The transition months of November and April are said to be associated with increased water clarity and better visibility for divers.

Things To Do.....

Maldives is a paradise for adventures and sports lovers. Go for waterskiing jet skiing, windsurfing, water surfing, snorkeling, sailing, or enjoy beach volleyball and basketball. It is the heaven to enjoy any adventurous activity.

Then, go shopping at the Singapore Bazaar, a collection of stores selling local Maldivian products as well as imported items such as you all can buy stamps, colorful island fabrics, local crafts made using lacquerwork and weaving. The woven mats known as kuna, with elegant geometric designs, black-coral jewelry, items made from turtle shell.

Getting There.....

Almost all visitors to the Maldives arrive by air. Malé International Airport, located in Hulhule Island, is just over a kilometer or about ten minutes by boat from Malé, the capital. There are regular flights to Colombo (Sri Lanka), Thiruvananthapuram (southwest India), Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), as well as many chartered flights from European centers.

The tourist resort islands have their own transfer boats to carry their clients. Visitors with confirmed reservations are normally met on arrival at the airport and transferred by boat, helicopter or seaplane to the resort island of their choice. Transport and communication services provided for tourists are generally of a high standard and comfartable.

The first thing we'd like to remind you is DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!! In this place can be wonderful, romantic, relaxing, frustrating, exciting, or dilatory. Much of what happens is out of your control, but your reaction to events can make a world of difference. Among activities that have in Belize such sea kayaking, snorkeling, scuba vacation, surfing and etc.

Belize is the perfect place for a tropical snorkeling trip.The clear warm waters of the Caribbean are more salty than in temperate regions, and creates extra buoyancy for swimmers which allows anyone to feel comfortable while exploring the reefs with a mask and snorkel. Belize allow snorkelers to see nearly everything that scuba divers access,and the safety to snorkels is no need to worry because the security is totally the best.

Besides that, surfing at Belize is great for intermediate and advanced surfers alike. Although our wave is excellent for surf kayaks and experienced surfers, our break is not ideal for beginners, and therefore not for beginning surfers.
